The Virtual Syllabus Video
I've been saving this video to share, I just can't wait any longer.
Looking at the T4 website, has solidified what I already knew: change must happen. It is uncomfortable, it'll take work, but what has to be done, has to be done. Teaching and REACHING our children HAS to be done.
This makes a very compelling case why technology isn't just the "icing on the cake." Technology may actually BE THE CAKE, particularly for today's students.
A very thought provoking piece that deserves further discussion. Digital technology is indeed a powerful tool, one that all teachers must have in their tool box; as they attempt to educate the intellectual, social and emotional aspects of the learner.
Dave: teacher, technologist, cook, motorcyclist, landspeed racer, dog walker, camper, husband, dad, grandpa, person-of-no-interest to the CIA or FBI. This blog is created to complement The Otterbein ED Tech Course Fall Semester 2012. Some of my other interests may creep in as I riff on the theme of technology integration in the classroom. Please comment so I don't feel I am talking to myself.
