  1. How to break out of the boxes that shape creative efforts is a difficult question to answer. I was very intrigued by Ken Robinson's ideas. I find myself agreeing with what he is saying about creativity. It is fascinating that no matter what ability level a child is at, they are placed with kids their own age instead of with people on their level. I teach 5th grade and I feel that many of my students have been spoon fed and not challenged in a way that would increase their creativity. We do set the bar too low and that can actually be quite boring. I will have to think more about this...
